Full Circle Chip Program
What is the Full Circle Chip Program?
This offering is a brand new to-the-market process where we take your larger volume overspray, convert it into a raw material chip form, and give it to your powder suppliers. Then, they put those chips back into their formulas for the powder that you buy. This will save them money on raw materials and will give you landfill cost avoidance.
Recyclability
How easy is it to recycle your material? The easier to recycle, the lower the cost and the more you save!
Easy Recyclability
- Single Chemistry
- Single Color
- Single Supplier
- Larger Volume
Difficult Recyclability
- Mixed Chemistries
- Mixed Colors
- Multiple Suppliers
- Smaller Volume
Chip Manufacturing
We can offer you an intermediate chip that can be used as a starting base formula that you can add to your formulation package. We give you the base formulation chips, you add the rest!
This enables you to create any color you want starting from a base gray for cheaper raw material costs. All you need to add are your pigments, resins, and other ingredients. Our chips come in 3 shades of a base gray but can be altered within our grayscale restrictions if needed.
Overruns, Obsolete, and Off-Spec Inventory
We can convert those materials into usable raw material chips without the loss of your production rate and valuable extruder time. If you’d rather not recycle those materials, we may be interested in taking them off your hands. Powders with performance problems can be converted into chips for easy repair.
Off-Spec Materials Can Include
- Seeds
- Lint
- Craters / Fisheyes
- Surface defects
Benefits of Converting
- Free up your valuable inventory space
- Reduce inventory carrying costs
- Cheaper raw material cost options
- Powder repair
- Sustainability
- Cost recovery
